I’m Dylan McKibbins, a photographer who loves documenting real moments as they unfold. Whether it’s a live concert, an engagement, or a quiet landscape, my goal is to create images that feel authentic and unforced.

I’ve been into photography since I was 12, when I got my first point-and-shoot camera. Years later, a month-long solo road trip reignited my passion for taking photos. I came home with over a thousand keepers and a new appreciation for the art of composing and refining images. Since then, I’ve deepened my understanding of photography and invested in professional-grade gear to push my work even further.

I prefer to let moments happen naturally, stepping in only when needed to frame the best shot. Before a session, I check in with my clients to understand any must-have images they’re looking for. Beyond that, I focus on telling the story as it unfolds.

I also have a soft spot for old-school digital cameras and early phone photography — from the GameBoy Camera to vintage iPhones. There’s something exciting about working within limitations. A great photo comes from vision and timing, not just the gear. Whether I’m shooting with high-end equipment or something pocket-sized, I put thought into every frame.
